We are who we choose to be; We are who we are born to be. In the end the differentiation makes little difference, the end result is the same. I am unsure if am truly who I wish to be, but the reality is that I am the only person that I could have possibly been, and in that there is some comfort.

My name is Matthew. I'm a Canadian Student who lives in British Colombia. I have very dark blond hair, teal eyes, slightly lower than average height and in decent shape. I'm fluent in both English and French and possess a fundamental understanding of the Japanese language. My hobbies include drawing, playing video games, watching Anime and Serial Dramas such as Heroes and House. I enjoy sour candy and hate tea. I'm straight edge, and I refuse to consume any toxins, such as alcohol, nicotine, caffeine and I even try to stay away from aspirin if I can get away with it. My clothing consists solely of Black, White and Red outfits, which started in middle-school and just sort of progressed. I refuse to wear jeans and prefer track pants instead.

I favorite bands consist of Sevendust, Mushroomhead, Disturbed, Julien-K, Orgy and many other alternative metal bands. I also enjoy some music by the likes of Nickelback and Lenny Kravitz. Crush 40 is also good, come to think of it. My favorite of those is Sevendust. Their singer is amazing and their lyrics really sink in deep.

I enjoy anime, but highly resent the term "Otaku", as in the Japanese language it's not something you want to be called, yet here Americans have taken it to their hearts and tried to convert it to something different. I'll stick with "fan". Some of my favorites include X/1999, Full Metal Alchemist, Full Metal Panic!, Bleach, Gundam Seed(As well as Destiny), Digimon 01 and 02, Cowboy Bebop, Dragonball Z and Deathnote. I'm sure there's a few others in there as well. My favorite of those is most assuridly X/1999, which changed the way I look at damn well near everything.

As I mentioned before I'm an avid video-game fan and hope to work in the industry one day. My favorite video game series is probably The Legend of Zelda series, although I'm a big fan of several others, such as Suikoden, Custom Robo, Sonic the Hedgehog, Dragonball Z Budokai and Tenkaichi, SoulCalibur and Edge, Harvest Moon, Tales of [Symphonia, Vesperia, Phantasia, etc], Fire Emblem, Ace Attourney(Pheonix Wright and Co.), Kirby, GTA, F-Zero and Paper Mario. Some individual games I especially enjoyed were Suikoden II(which is my favorite game of all time thus far), The World Ends With You(which is a very close second), X: Battle of Fates(JP), Gun, The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time(Which I do hope they reimagine one day), Black and White, Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion, Little Fighter 2, and many more.

Some of my favorite movies include: (I, Robot), The Matrix, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Spiderman, The Illusionist and The Last Samurai. Also Zoolander and the original Willy Wonka movie.

My favorite TV shows outside of anime are: House MD, Heroes, Avatar: The Last Airbender, NUMB3RS, CSI: New York and Mythbusters.

My aspiration is to become a great CGI Artist, a 3D Animator in the field of Digital Entertainment, either television, movies or video games. I'm quite skilled in the area and have been working very hard to improve my skills.

I'm a bit of a jerk, I hate being wrong, I hate admitting I'm wrong, I hate being repressed, I hate being ignored(not to say that I'm needy, mind you), I have no qualms about insulting someone if it serves a purpose, I'm manipulative, I'm somewhat arrogant and morally ambiguous. That said, I'm also very caring, passionate, clever, knowledgeable, observant, confidant and extremely loyal.

And that's pretty much all there is to say about me, really. Anything else and I'd be uninteresting.
